Valentine's Day

So today started off good. I felt like I got plenty of rest and got up and got ready to go pick up Emma from her grandparent's house. She did awesomely there. She didn't fuss for them at all! We've decided she's going to stay over there at least once a month since all 3 of them enjoyed it so much! Shawn's mom said the only bad thing is; is that she got nothing done lol. I told her, "Why do you think my house looks like a tornado all the time?"

We came home and my hubby got his new Thermal Tank case for the computer he's building, so he worked on that. Emma's LeapPad came in the mail so I got that programed for her. It's something she probably have to grow into. She likes it, but she's not really like OMG THIS IS AWESOME yet. Which is probably why the box says ages 2+ :-/ oh well, just wanted something so she would leave my laptop alone. Plus Leap Frog products are awesome! I love them! I think Leap Frog is better than that Your Baby Can Read crap any day, and way cheaper!

We went to Applebees for dinner, which I was not expecting. I thought when we left the house we'd end up going to McDonalds or something so I still had my shirt on that was cover in baby food lol. Emma slept through the whole dinner & Shawn & I actually found stuff we like. We might eat there more often when we do date nights instead of just going to Olive Garden all the time.

We went to GameStop (of course we did) and Shawn couldn't find anything to buy so he literally went up to the guy at the counter & said "Sell me something". The guy was like ok and was going to hand him just any thing and Shawn said "It has to be something good" lol. I think Shawn does his best video game shopping when he has a fellow gamer talking about video games for A LONG TIME. He ended up getting the Halo Anniversary pack & Dead Island 2.

On the way out of Gamestop I was carrying Emma in my arms, in the parking lot they have those island type things that they plant stuff in, I went to step up on it because our car was behind it, and lost my footing. Emma & I fell! It scared the shit out of me!!! I put my arm out so I didn't land directly on Emma, I landed basically on my side. We both got muddy & thank god it was just mud and not concrete! Emma is totally fine but I'm in a little pain, just sore really. After that I told Shawn he had to go into dollar tree now and get us Valentine's Day chocolates & Emma a teddy bear because we deserve it after our fall!
