Emma has been "pre-teething" for a LONG time now, but now she's really teething now. We can see her top two & bottom two teeth trying to burst through, they just haven't yet. We got her some teething tablets that numbs her gums and they seem to work really well. Baby oralgel is just a waste of money! Well I got onto a blog for mothers and got a few ideas. We're going to look into a mesh feeder once we get some more money, but right now we're trying the carrot. A couple mom's posted about giving their babies the big end of a carrot cold and let them chew on it. Well Emz LOVES the carrot! I could hardly take it away from her! So I think maybe a couple more times with the carrot and her teeth might decide to make their grand entrance!
Shawn's Granny suggested giving her a rib bone! They gave one to his niece and they teeth popped right out a week later! I was hesitant about it, but now I'm willing to give anything a try! I mean she did it for Shawn's dad, Shawn, and his youngest niece and they're all fine. Who knows. I've read that this isn't even the worst of it. The worst part is when their molars are coming in! :( Poor Emz.
