Seriously now!

Seriously! Who knew planning a birthday party for an almost ONE year old would be so stressful! My husband gave me a $300 budget and I'm already $9.00 in the hole! I still have a ton of stuff to buy too! I'm glad I found a place to rent for so cheap or else I'd be more in the hole gah.

She still needs: An outfit, #1 candle, something for her hair, invitations, birthday bib, and shoes (maybe). On the bright side I do have two cakes, one for her to destroy and the other for the rest of us, some table covers, streamers, those fun little things that you blow on and they role out & make noise, a banner, and a room. I guess we don't really need favors since they kids get to either mini golf or bouncy house.

Most people don't understand why the 1st birthday is such a big deal, "She's not going to remember it" they say. And I reply "BUT I WILL"! The 1st birthday party is more for the mom then it is for the child. It's to mark your first year of being the best little mommy. It's your first anniversary of the day you got to hold your child in your arms! If that isn't something to celebrate then tell me what the hell is!!!
